THE YOUGHIOGHENY RIVER TRAIL

The YRT, north section is 43 miles long between McKeesport, in Allegheny County and Connellsville in Fayette County. It is part of the 200+ mile Great Allegheny Passage system of trails linking Pittsburgh with Cumberland, Maryland and the C&O Canal Towpath to Washington DC. These links will take you to a map and directions to the access areas of the YRT. Please be aware that the trail is always on the West Side of the river, these maps still show RR tracks. The maps are oriented with North at the top.
