Currently, there are five camping areas along the YRT north (three primitive and two commercial) and two more along YRT south

(Ohiopyle State Park section). On the north section we built Dravo's Landing overnite area. It is directly behind Dravo Cemetery near Milepost 25, six miles south of Boston Access Area, one and one-half miles north of Buena Vista Access Area. It has room for several tents, two fire rings, two picnic tables, toilet near by, and a well.  This camping area was constructed by several Boy Scout Eagle projects.

The next campground is at the southernmost end of Cedar Creek Park.  There is a toilet located there along with several campsites.

Water and additional toilet facilities are located nearby in the park.

The other primitive campground is Roundbottom at Milepost 47.8.  There is an SST there, but no water,

you must carry your own in.

Groups of 10 or more wishing to camp at Dravo's Landing or at Roundbottom should contact RTC Headquarters for a free permit.

The commercial camping areas are River's Edge Family Campground, at Milepost 55 in Adelaide and Hazelbaker's Campground and Canoe Rental in Perryopolis.

River's Edge has a pool, showers and eatery.  Reservations are a must.  Hazelbaker's is a primitive campground with washrooms,

riverfront camping, and personal use facilities.

On the  south section of the YRT, there is camping in Ohiopyle State Park, as well as a youth hostel. Unfortunately, the State Park campsites and commercial campgrounds are located on TOP of the mountain, the trail is at the Bottom.

There is a commercial campground at the Yough Dam operated by the Army Corps of Engineers near Confluence.

Camping is only permitted in these designated areas.
