Monthly meetings are held in the "Blue Building" behind Martin's Grocery Plaza, (800 Vanderbilt Rd (Rt 201), Connellsville, PA). Email us for our next meeting date. We are responsible for the 23 mile section of the Great Allegheny Passage trail from Layton through Connellsville to Bruner Run just outside of Ohiopyle - essentially most of the Fayette County section - and one town that has the trail actually pass through. It is an all volunteer group that does various fund raising activities through the year for supplies, equipment, utilities, upkeep, etc. We also maintain a campground and shelters at the Connellsville trailhead with all year round water and toilet facilities available, video surveillance and an 18 hour supply store in Martin's Grocery nearby. We currently have 170 paid members and always looking for more.
